Network of climatological and synoptic Automatic Weather Stations
Over 1,500 stations have been deployed, sometimes at very remote sites, for the acquisition and processing of standard meteorological parameters (wind, temperature, humidity, precipitation, etc.) compliant with WMO and ICAO standards.
Meteorological data can be transmitted via various communication networks (cable, GSM, PSTN, etc.) operated either locally or by a remote-control centre.
