Radiation measurement
The main principles
Solar radiation is an electromagnetic radiation essentially composed of : visible light, infrared radiation, ultraviolet radiation.
The measurement is an irradiance caused by radiation. Depending upon its position or exposition the sensor is able to make a global, direct, diffused or backscattered measurement.
The most common measurements are global and diffused solar radiation done by pyranometers.
Our advantages
DEGREANE HORIZON integrates in its offers pyranometers which have been made by famous manufacturers, and which have, for the most part, been validated by international meteorological services.
DEGREANE HORIZON stations can measure all sorts of radiation. Our range of pyranometers means we can meet very varied needs.
Some advice
The set up location should be free of shade, caused more particularly by sunrise and sunset.
The choice of the measurement scale of the sensor should be made depending on its final purpose (accuracy of the measurement, drift). |
