Data transmission
The MAP is a securized system for transmission of “all or none” states on specialized lines.
Functions
The state of an incoming loop is analysed and then forwarded by means of frequency shift keying (FSK) on the specialized line (emission).
A power relay is activated according to the FSK signal on the specialized line (reception). Transmission is done by frequency doublet F+, F-.
The MAP can be programmed by means of a serial link which is linked to a compatible PC (the software can be ordered as an option).
The MAP is available with 12 VDC power supply or 24/48 VDC.
It is a lengthened simple European format mono card which can be integrated into a 1U 19” rack. Two MAPS can be integrated in one rack.
