Power Line Carrier
Data Transmission

STE-D is a device for data transfer on HV lines.  It can transfer several voice and data channels on the same HV line when it has the multiplexing function.


Functions
The device can handle several types of interfaces by multiplexing these channels in the same raster.

With the “Drop-Insert” option, the STE-D can be used as a gateway for the TDM networks. With the router option, STE-D functions like a gateway onto an IP network.
