Characteristics
The MDD is composed of 2 subsets :
The man/machine interface runs by means of Windows on a PC dedicated to the application. It is composed of :
- the application software ;
- a back-up unit ;
- an Ethernet card for the networking ;
- a serial link equipped with a modem or a tension loop for liaison with the MDD. |
The MDD has a 48V power supply. It can integrate on a monocard :
- 2 incoming telephone lines ;
- 1 outgoing telephone line ;
- a serial link for connection with
the PC ;
- 2 defect loops at exit for major defaults and defaults of the telephone line. |

| MDD
The MDD is a dual switch system.
It is composed of :
- an industrial front which ensures telephone line running.
- an application software on PC for the management of the agents on duty who have to be alerted.
Functions
Functions of the MDD
:
- taking into account telephone calls using a system of phone number transfer to the agent who is effectively on duty via the PSTN or the GSM.
- management of a data bank of 128 agents who can be searched for by means of :
- a main telephone number
- a portable telephone number
- a third number available for users
- 2 different research axes during working hours and non working hours.
- a research temporization is associated to each number called.
- it is possible to have an overflow to back-up numbers.
- transmission of facsimile.
- duty management by means of calendar and/or voluntary duty taking.
- timestamping and recording of all the events in a log entry in Excel format.
- the MDD is operational and can be configured in a network environment.
- the agents’ data bank can be keyed into Excel format.
- the possibility exists to supervise the main number of each agent.
