The know-how of DEGREANE HORIZON in the microwave frequency domain goes from MHz up to GHz. DEGREANE HORIZON ensures the study, the design, the installation and the maintenance in operational conditions of these products.

3 types of radar have been developed, integrated and installed throughout the world : VHF, UHF and Ka.

One of the examples of something we have designed is the Doppler cloud radar.
This radar has a tube 100 W peak progressive wave tube at 25% occupancy level, as well as a 0.35° opening parabole (52 dBi). The design, integration and test of the whole hyper part has allowed us to acquire know-how in the field of millimetrics.

In association with this radar, piloting algorithms, as wel as specific signal treatment based on DSP, has been developed which means the system has become autonomous and H24 operational.

Moreover, the Doppler radar pulsed in Ka-band for water detection suspended in clouds, completes the wide scale of skills of DEGREANE HORIZON in this field.
