The know-how of DEGREANE HORIZON in the microwave frequency domain goes from MHz up to GHz. DEGREANE HORIZON ensures the study, the design, the installation and the maintenance in operational conditions of these products.

3 types of radar have been developed, integrated and installed throughout the world : VHF, UHF and Ka.

One of the examples of something we have designed is the VHF wind profiler radar. It provides vertical profile according to the power and frequency transmitted, from 1500m up to 20 km high, depending upon the power transmitted  and the surface of the antennas. It uses backscattering properties of electromagnetic waves through the continuous sounding of the atmosphere.
