3.5 kW transmitter
Transmitter / Wind profiler

Created to be one of the key elements of the radar wind profiler, the DEGREANE HORIZON 3.5 kW transmitter is outstanding because of its modern technological set-up.

It has been developed in order to be integrated into the range of radar wind profilers (1.2 – 1.4 GHz), the transmitter can give impulsions of 350 ms with special shapes (rectangular, filtered rectangular, nearly gaussian) in order to reduce the spectral dimensions (- 40 dBc to +- 6MHz).

Conceived, simulated, made and tested by DEGREANE HORIZON, this transmitter shows the know-how in the domain of power microwave frequency amplifiers and means a wide range of by-products of solid state transmitters issued from this technology can be proposed:

• Preamplifier
• Driver
• 500 W amplifier
