Power amplifier for seismic sources

This kind of product puts forward the know-how of DEGREANE HORIZON  with regards to  integration, power electronics and impedance adaptation. It embeds a Very High Resolution seismic transmission chain for deep sea-beds.

The amplifier is a class D one that functions in horizontal splitting.

The synthesis of the signal is done by means of inductive cross coupling of the different elementary stages.

Two energy conversions in series are done :

  • The first conversion means we can carry out the joint strength power supply, it is a /- (1000Veff / 170Vcc conversion).
  • The second conversion means we can activate the outgoing signal by means of the summation of the different elementary stages, it is a continuous / alternative conversion.

The control of the amplifier is done by means of the driver board.

The generating timing and storage of the codes to be transmitted, is done by the system control board. This one also dialogues and transmits codes from the PC which is equipped with the LF CHIRP software.
